Introducing the all new 2021 Rogue

The 2021 Nissan Rogue is better than ever, in every way possible. The compact SUV segment is the hottest in the industry, and it’s been that way for a long time. Automakers rush to deliver the best possible product to the market, knowing consumers have a lot of options at their disposal and don’t want to compromise. The 2021 Nissan Rogue is the perfect representation of that quest for perfection in a segment where nothing can be overlooked!

The previous Rogue was known for its remarkable comfort, innovative safety, impressive fuel economy, and segment-leading cargo space. The new 2021 Rogue preserves these elements but is now even better adapted to the needs of family life aboard a vehicle, more powerful, still as efficient, and more stylish than ever.

What's new about the 2021 Nissan Rogue

Just about everything is new in the 2021 Nissan Rogue! It starts with the exterior where Nissan designers infused the new Rogue with a bold design that truly stands out on the road. It’s not easy to give a compact SUV a head-turning design, but Nissan designers certainly did that!

Inside, everything is new as well. This new-generation Rogue is more refined than ever before, and its interior is perhaps the most luxurious in the segment. Designed around the needs of families, the interior is dubbed the “Family Hub” by Nissan. In simple terms, the 2021 Nissan Rogue’s interior has the tech, connectivity, and comfort features needed to make daily family life easier.

For starters, entry and exit are facilitated by doors that open all the way up to 85 degrees. Any parent will tell you, that will make everything a lot easier. Once seated, everyone enjoys the benefits and comfort the Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats. The NASA-inspired front and rear seats are designed to reduce fatigue and make long drives pass by like a breeze.

The center touchscreen is larger and faster, and there’s a new 12.3-inch available digital instrument cluster as well.

The new 2021 Nissan Rogue also gets improved safety features including a standard suite of active safety technologies included in the Nissan Shield 360 feature. It includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking. These technologies are designed to keep you safe and prevent accidents before they occur.

The Rogue also gets an improved ProPilot ASSIST system. The revolutionary system with autonomous capability including lane centering is now available on the SV trim as opposed to only the top-of-the-line model.

How the 2021 Nissan Rogue stacks up in its segment

As mentioned previously, the 2021 Rogue has some stiff competition to tackle. However, it is better equipped than ever to face its rivals, starting with improved cargo space. With more than 1 100 liters of total cargo space with all seats in place, the new Rogue has more interior trunk space than the Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson or Subaru Forester. It's actually the most spacious vehicle in its segment.

Its 2.5-liter engine has been improved to deliver 181 horsepower (an improvement of 11 horsepower), and 181 pound-feet of torque. This engine was already more efficient than the CR-V, RAV4, Escape, or Forester, and it also features better fuel economy ratings than the Volkswagen Tiguan, Chevrolet Equinox, and Jeep Cherokee.

Being the most recent model introduced in the segment, it features technologies that you won’t find on some of the older models in the segment like the RAV4 and the Tucson.

And no other compact SUV can claim to offer Zero Gravity seats or an advanced system like Nissan ProPilot ASSIST.
